Unit 7 - Tasks
In Unit 7, we will quickly consider task types. Tasks are linked with quote items, where employees are meant to record their hours worked. We have one item to cover in this Unit: Types. These are mostly the same for all our customers, however, you can amend them if needed.
Types
For most of our customers, a task for a project can be performed in the field or in an office. If employees are supporting operations from their function departments and do not record against a project, they can use the internal type. Therefore, in total, we have the following types:
- Field
- Office
- Internal
