Why can't I change the organization of a project?

Description of the issue

You are trying to change the organization in a project but Kompass doesn't allow you to do it.

First steps

Kompass will not allow changing an organization once a proposal is accepted and turned into a project. This is happening because a proposal item has already been accepted by the previously selected organization. If it were allowed to change, then the project would have inconsistencies, as it would be accepted by an organization that is not assigned to the project.

How to address the issue

To change an organization to a project, you will have to remove the acceptance of proposal items first. Then, change the organization and accept the proposal items again.

To remove acceptance, select the proposal items, and click "Actions", "Set Accepted" and "Remove Acceptance".
