Finance_Account Receivable Aging

Intro: An AR report based on invoicing and payments stored in Kompass. For the report to work correctly, all invoices raised from your organisation and payments received should be stored in Kompass.

In Kompass: Since Kompass is not an accounting solution, it cannot offer all the functionalities an accounting software would do. One of those functionalities is the AR reports. However, Kompass does store all the information needed to generate an AR report in an external Excel file.

File Needed: From page [Invoices] and [Payments], Actions, Export Allocations. You can find more details here: How-To Guides, Proposals and Projects, Different types of exports. These files need to be exported once per year on New Year's Day including the entire previous year (01/01/20xx - 12/31/20xx).

Uploading method: Drop_Into_a_Folder once per year. API Token during the year. Make sure you will paste the folder location found in the [HOW TO] sheet.

The File: There are four tabs in that spreadsheet. [HOW TO] explains how the file works. You must update cell D2 for the file to work. Also, in here you should set the dates of your review. Start Date must set for the beginning of the year while End Date can span all the way until the end of the year. You should not set more than one full year in those fields. Additionally, you can add your own AR grading of aging. Once you set the dates, click "Refresh Here!". The file will ask for your API Token to access Kompass. We will provide this token to you.

[Per Clients Table] tab slices data by client. A department name slicer and timeline of invoice due date are also included to allow further filtering of information. Table contains invoiced amounts, payments and remaining to be paid. Additionally, Days Overdue lists the days past from invoice date to today's date. In case clients are collapsed, Days Overdue will return the average days overdue per client, offering a valuable insight on good vs bad payers.

[Invoice-Payment Table] lists invoices and payments in a more packed way.

Finally, [Aging Table] will split outstanding revenue into different aging groups.

Further analysis: File also contains nominal account and services information for the projects. Therefore, adapting of the file can offer relevant filtering.
