Step 2: Browsing Older Status Records
Retrieve older status records by clicking the date drop-down menu in the "Previous Status" list.
10% of the first proposal item had been completed on that previous date (1) and 14% of the entire project (2). Completed percentage on the "Status on" is 64% (3). Difference on percentage of completion between the two dates, is 48%.
Change the "Status On" date to calculate differences between status updates. Previous status records are marked with an orange dot.
You can find extensive information regarding all columns in the project status window in the Reference article Project Status. You will also find troubleshooting articles explaining all Kompass warnings that might appear while recording your project status.
Step 3: Adding notes to your status updates
When recording a status update, you may need to add notes to explain the reasoning or communicate with other functions in your organization. For instance, the project manager can instruct finance on how much to invoice for proposal items 204134 using the "Notes" field. You can save a note for each status update of each proposal item.
