Unit 10 - Leave

In Unit 10, we will focus again on an HR topic and collect information about your time off policies. We have two items to review in this Unit: Email Templates and Types.

Types

Contractually speaking, your organization probably has numerous types of time off from common PTO/annual leave to parental leave, volunteering, jury duty, bereavement, sick leave, etc. You will need to provide the list of the types you need and also define which of these will actually deduct hours from the employees' accrued hours.

Email Templates

When an employee is requesting a leave, they will receive an email notification, as will their manager. Again, when the leave is approved, an email will be sent to both parties. The email below is showing the details of the request.

Working days: {{ leave.days }}

However, you can amend these emails if desired.
