Methods on filtering projects and map view

There are numerous ways to filter your proposals and projects. You can also view them in a list and on a map.

Proposals

  • Go to the "Proposals" page. You can filter your proposals by searching in the search box (2). However, the search will only return results based on the existing filters of your view. If you want to retrieve results from the entire database, you will need to ensure the option "All" is clicked in section (3) and all filters in section (4) have been cleared.

There are several filters you can apply in the search box based on the values of proposals and projects fields. For more information, please head to Power search box article.

  • Section (3) allows you to filter proposals based on their progress. Options are:

    • Enquiries filters all proposals that have not yet been submitted to clients.
    • Open filters all proposals that have been submitted, but the client has not yet confirmed whether the proposal is accepted or abandoned. Note that you can also include projects that have at least one non accepted proposal item by selecting the "Include active projects" tickbox.

    • Won filters all proposals that have been accepted. This filter will return the same records as the "Projects" page.
    • Lost filters all proposal that have been abandoned.
    • All returns all proposals regardless of status.
  • The filter button (4) allows you to filter your projects based on several fields.

Simply pick the values you want to filter from the drop-down menus. You can pick more than one value for each field and can filter based on multiple fields.

You can clear selected fields by clicking the "x" circle next to them, or you can clear all filters at once by clicking the "Reset" button.

If you want to retrieve results from the entire database, you will need to ensure the "All" option is clicked in section (3) and all filters in section (4) have been cleared.

        • The option "Active/All" returns all active projects.
        • The option "Active/Site" returns all active projects that have no date in the "Site Work Completed" field.

To further understand how the options under "Finished" are filtering the projects, you can head back to any project and look for the "Finances" section.

        • The option "Finished/All" returns all projects with a date in the "Delivery Completed" regardless of whether there are dates filled in the "Finances" section.
        • The option "Finished/Invoice" returns all projects with a date in the "Delivery Completed" and no date in the "Finances" section. These are ready to be invoiced.
        • The option "Finished/Unpaid" returns all projects with a date in the "Delivery Completed" and a date in the "Fully Invoiced" field, but no date in  the "Fully Paid" field.
        • The option "Finished/Paid" returns all projects with a date in the "Fully Paid" field.
    • The option "All" returns all projects regardless of status.
    • The option "Cancelled" returns all projects that have been abandoned. You can see whether a project has been abandoned in the "Proposal" section of the project.
