Edit diary/ timesheet entries of your employees
Go to the "Timesheets" page. If you have the necessary permissions, you will see a list of employees at the dropdown next to the search bar (1). You will either see all employees, employees in your department or employees you manage. Select the employee you want their timesheets to edit (2). Click “Edit” on the record you want to amend (3).
Proceed with the changes and click Save once finished.
You have the option of approving the recorded hours by clicking the "Edit" button (1) and "Approve" (2). As seen below, one timesheet has been already approved (3) and it can be reset if needs be. One timesheet is rejected (4) and user can see the decision notes of their manager under the entry. Last two timesheets are yet to be approved.
Once a timesheet/diary entry is approved, the user cannot edit any more, as seen in the image below, there is no "edit" button for the October 18th entry.
You can batch approve/ reject timesheets by selecting the period of interest (1), the timesheets you want to approve/ reject (2), and then by clicking the tickbox next to "Date" (3), you can batch apply your edits.
Click "Edit" and "approve", "reject", or "reset".
You can also edit diary entries on the project page for projects you are managing. Go to the "Projects" page and search for the project you want to edit.
On the project page, click the "Operations" tab (1) and in the "Timesheets" section, you will find all the project's diary entries. Click the "Edit" button (2).
This will open a form that allows you to change the working hours. Amend any of the fields and click Save once finished. Depending on the Kompass configuration, you might see one of the forms below.
